I understand next to nothing about this. I do know if something uses your computer C.P.U whatever that is, things run slow. It seems bit coin mining is where you open a browser and let something ?who use your hardware to perform some mathematical equation that produces currency and think after letting who or whatever it is uses your hardware and electricity it eventually pays you in the currency. Or at least, that is what I think and I may be wrong. Just as an experiment I have been mining. In a zillion years, I may earn a bitcoin. Does anyone here actually do this stuff and how on earth does this become money you can use? Is it worth bothering with?

I can see how hacklers might use it. However there seem to be sites where you choose to do yourself. That is what I was thinking of. I would definitely check for a virus if it was not me experimenting. I chose to see what happened. It seems to me like a very curious way of earning, but I was interested when bitcoin exchange rates turned up in my currency checker and I like exploring .........

@LadyDuck Interesting. I was not expecting to earn, just to fill a gap in my knowledge. I think the site for Bitcoins I found has the package and uses your CPU to go mining. No idea really, just interested because I really cannot seem to understand the concept. I have an electricity key so am just off out to see what it used today. So far the heating is still on!

I am into CryptoCurrency but haven't tried mining. I earn a good amount of Bitcoin thru blogging.
bitLanders.com paid members in Bitcoin before but now we get paid via PayPal and/or Payza. Payza supports CryptoCurrency.
Steemit.com rewards its users in STEEM and Steem Dollar (SBD) which can be exchanged to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin, Dogecoin and BitShares to date.
Check WirexApp.com for cashing out Bitcoin. We need the alphanumeric address to send/receive coins.
