Gardening plans

This year I have loads of plans for my garden. Just waiting for the sun to get started. There will be a lot of work but I am so excited. Last month I transplanted the apple tree in another place in my garden to create more space for the new trees. That apple tree was too close to the terrace which I am planning to expand in future so it had to go from there. Tomorrow after work I am going to buy few fruit trees to have them planted next week if the weather allows it. The fruit trees I have in mind are cherries, pear, apricot and whatever else I find. Will keep you updated with the progress. How is your day?

I have an apple tree but I wish I had a peach and plum tree as well. I have a raspberry bush I planted a few years back that I got some fruit from this past year.

@Madshadi true but its also a matter of where to plant it. Once I was given a pear tree as a bridal shower gift. My husband and I planted it and when we dug into the ground under the grass was all railroad ash and it killed the tree. Wouldn't be safe to eat food from a tree grown in that soil anyway.

@shaggin I remember you told me that story once. I wouldn’t plant it anywhere but in my garden or a place I know is safe.

Here it is still snowing. I have to move a fig tree and I also want to plant apricots, they grow well in our area.

It is lovely to be able to go out and pick fresh fruit from your own trees. It's good that you have room for a few fruit trees.

We had a festival here in India so was busy celebrating it with the family. Good to know that you have plant an apple tree and planning to plant other fruit trees.
