Icy Roads

I called my brother in-law to drive me to work this morning as I don’t have winter tires and he is much more skilled at driving in these conditions than me. I was hoping snow would melt by now so I can take my car. My Saturday will be very busy. After work I’m going to buy few trees for my garden (they are on sale today). Then will do some chores. I will spend the evening at my in-laws. Can’t wait for Sunday to rest a bit. Any plans for Saturday?

We have winter tires, they are mandatory here, if you have an accident in winter and no winter tires the insurance does not cover.

My daughter was hoping to go shopping but the roads are still not good and some places still have no electricity. We will be going tomorrow.

@Madshadi yep we got 15 1/2 inches at my house. Power is still out at a friends this morning. It's only 4 miles from me but higher elevation so they got more snow.

Snow yesterday and early in the morning then a warm and sunny afternoon. Temperatures jumped 8 degrees C in less than 4 hours

The snow melted before noon. It’s been warm and sunny since. One tree is in the ground already and the other is in the terrace

Doing a spot of house cleaning and laundry. My relocated a while back and I still have things in bags and boxes that I have to tend too. If I feel better, I'll tend to this.
