A cousin from a small fishing village prompted me over the shabbiness of my father's little lot in the barrio. It was being used as "lugawan" for two hours in the morning by some poor people. By night, when there is a wake, people use the lot as a place to converge and play some sakla. Lugawan is porridge, or poor man's food. Sakla is a gambling game, I just do not know the mechanics. I told my cousin that I have no case against the people who use the lot. In fact, young lads play basketball in the small square lot. My cousin sent another message that it is ugly and looks like a squatter's area. I told her that if those poor people are so reprehensible to her, I cannot do anything about it. I logged out and closed my laptop. I took Bhem's impeccable advice to rest. I slept. It is the solution to an infuriating situation. Ha ha.

i think it will become a problem if people start building on that lot. is it an open lot with no fencing?

I have sought the help of the Baranggay Captain. He allowed the lugaw to help the poor. He tasked them to clean the place. No construction allowed whatsoever.

Sleeping does wonders, really. It heals my body and my mind as well.
