Sweetest Thing You Did or Experienced?

I know the Love month just passed by like a flash but that does not mean that love must not go on. Just for conversation, what is the sweetest thing you did for someone or sweetest thing somebody did for you? For me, it was when my husband went to my place leaving his family in his hometown to be with me. And when we got married. It was the sweetest for me because it means he is willing to be with me and sacrificed whatever he has there in his hometown. How about you guys? Anything you want to share?

@Raj7779 Of course and it is not everyday you spend time with them. So yes, those moments are the sweetest and memorable.

Mine is when he always says that though I'm hardheaded and moody, he still loves me. And the fact that he stayed with me while I'm sick.

I made my promise to my relatives that I will stay by my mom's side and not make the mistakes my siblings made. I used to hate the sacrifices but now I realize the kind of peace I'm having in my life. The sweetest thing is having a mom that cares for you no matter what and that is something I realized now. Not every one is into settling down specially if they're not prepared.

Hi @Letranknight2015. That is sweet. We only get to be with our mom for a short period of time. And you’re both blessed to have each other. I am happy for both of you.

@Letranknight2015 you’re welcome. As they say we will only realize what we lost when they are gone. So take advantage of the time we have and spend it with the people who mean a lot to us.

I agree, Bess. Our first dog was caring and protective too - over protective. I am sorry. But I know he lived a good life caring, loving and protecting you.

My husband has done a million sweet things over the years but he always asks me every evening if I would like a cup of coffee and then he brings it to me. That is sweet.

I always felt love when when my kids hug me. Especially my youngest son. Even though I am so tired, angry and weary when he hugs me everything is gone and I felt relax.

That was a huge sacrifice your husband made and truly sweet of him. I hope his hometown is not too far to visit his family.

@mlgen1037 He loves you and wants to be with you wherever you live. That's not too, too bad. I'm sure you can even drive there if you have the time. There seems to be so many beautiful beaches in the Philppines. I would love to visit someday.

Hi Dianne. Thank you. I am grateful for what he did for me. His hometown is in Cebu, which is an hour away by plane. But I love his hometown because there are a lot of beautiful beaches.

Hmm, when I was in a relationship a long time ago..hehe we went to the Quiapo church because it's our anniversary then I handed him a card that I wrote and let him read while sitting on the church. I don't know if it's romantic or not but that's the bravest thing I've done so far.

@mlgen1037 I know love letter is a common thing to do but reading it in a church was really something and couldn't even think what came to my mind why I did that.

I had an argument with my students last year because they didn't do their homework. The week after I went to school and found my desk full of gifts ( a flower, a bottle of perfume, a necklace and pack of chocolate) and letters of apology. I still cry when I remember this.
