Now they just have to dry a bit before I can cut them. I was overly optimistic in how long the making-dinner process would take but that's okay. My husband is napping and I'm not super-hungry yet. It is better that he isn't hanging over me asking every 15 minutes when dinner will be ready. You just never know when you are trying a new recipe and I usually am most nights of the week. I have to say that the pasta sheets look very pretty with their herb bits speckled throughout. I used parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Yes, there is a song about that by Simon and Garfunkel @JolietJake . I don't think I've ever heard it but I've heard *of* it. Dinner will be served. . . probably in another hour or so.

@marguicha Yes. I have a KitchenAid stand mixer and the pasta roller attachment. I didn't cut the dough segments evenly which is why the sheets aren't uniform.

Thanks! I hope so. Just waiting for it to dry out. It was a wet dough.

I just listened to it. What a horrible song. Maybe you have to be high to appreciate it.

@NJChicaa It's from the Middle Ages. I think most people were dying of the plague back then.

Do you cut them in little pieces?

The herbs? I chopped them as finely as I could with my knife. Honestly, I didn't care if there were bigger bits because this isn't a competition entry. This is just food for me and my husband. Some things chop more easily--parsley is great. Rosemary is pretty easy. Thyme leaves you don't even have to chop because they are so small. The challenge is to just get them off of the soft stems. Sage? Those huge soft leaves just don't want to be cut up.

I love the idea of that soup. I need to try to make it with turkey meatballs. My idol Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) puts sausage in hers and that is a no-go for me.
