The Chastisement.

To many, my strong contention about defending and propagating the Catholic faith comes as being judgmental. My rebuttal - the ten commandments had been laid out for us, therefore we can make judgment. Ergo, for the learned and the educated, I have little regard if they apostate from the faith. I am not kind with the severe chastisement I rapidly fire. For the deprived and the uneducated, I have the patience to explain the creed and the faith. They deserve to know. Why? The educated have been given the blessing. If they choose not to acknowledge our God, it's with their own volition. But the uneducated, they could be gullible and easily persuaded. I can narrate the story of the Good News and marvel at how these deprived grow eager to know more. If my chastisement sounds brutal, it was intended to be. I cannot accept men and women taking God for granted, to the point of condescending our Creator.

I once belong to the Catholic faith not out of choice but because most of my family and relatives were. I have nothing against religion only the leaders and the institutions that preach and propagate their version of "the word of God". I believe that those who teach should be beyond reproach in their character and lifestyle. Yet there is much hypocrisy and double standards found among these so-called "men of peace and God's messenger". I also cannot accept blindly their insistence that their beliefs are infallible.

@eileenleyva _"God" is infallible. The church hierarchy and those who interpret his words are not. They conveniently hide behind his coattails when they ran out of logical arguments with phrases like "This is the word of God" or "The sacred book is proof of what God said"

@josie_ Infallibility applies to the church. The terminology refers to a dogma. God is the Supreme Being. God is All-knowing. Hiding conveniently is no longer applicable in this age. Wherever one hides, he can be found. That is why those who infiltrated the church with the intention of maligning the church and cause the downfall of the church had been divulged. The church was firmly founded on a rock by our Lord Jesus. No matter the evil that tries to destroy the church, the church will stand. Jesus is our rock and our salvation.

Our faith has asked us much, much more than any religion in the world preaches. Our faith has asked us to follow the Supreme Sacrifice that our Lord Jesus has done to save us. Our families, our people, our country, these are the building blocks of our lives to get us nearer our God. In love, God reigns supreme, Take care of your family, your people, your country the best way you can but love God above all else.
