Has anyone eaten recently that they gave up and did not agree with them?

On Friday I was given some things I stopped eating and I ate too many and was really full and did not feel good. I believe my stomach shrunk and it was too much to put inside of it. I have been eating less and I did not feel well after that. Has that happened to any of you here? How did you feel afterwards?

I try not to overeat but it happens ocassionally, I rarely have a stomach ache and hope I can avoid that all the time. My body tells me when to stop if I tend to overeat.

I am trying not to overeat this winter so can keep the weight down. When I feel I eat too much then I will not eat a lot after that.

@Hannihar I enjoy going to the YMCA daily for exercise, it helps me keep my weight down. My husband goes too.

Dianne, I am glad that you know when to stop. I do not eat that much now a days so when I do overeat that is when I do not think and continue to eat.

I'm ashamed to say I ate a whole tub of cookie dough icecream last night (a small one). I did not sleep well as it made me uncomfortable and I do not feel like breakfast this morning.

@sprite1950 Maybe your stomach could not handle it and it was too much for you to eat at once. I believe my stomach shrunk and the stuff I ate on Friday is stuff I have not eaten in a long time and did not feel good afterwards.

I can't feel hunger so If I eat and watch tv for long I could be in trouble. I have to portion myself to what I can eat and that stops that from happening.

Shay, is it that you cannot keep the food down or what?

@Hannihar There is something wrong with something I can't spell. Making it hard to get down foods. I am not having an operation so I have to eat less and thinner if possible.

Yes, it happened to me when my friends and I went to have a dinner at a buffet Chinese restaurant. There were lots of seafood and my eyes were huge that I have eaten a lot. In the middle of the night, I felt sick and threw up. Never again I did that eating much.

It has always been that way Thelma for me that my eyes have been bigger than my stomach.

Oh yes. Sometimes that happens when I overeat. It tastes so good but the discomfort isn't worth it

What did you eat? I've noticed my body feels really unfamiliar when I eat red meat. I went to the hospital and the doctor told me that my body can't absorb red meat. I have quit since then. I haven't had red meat in the last 12 years.

Well, if it is something that was my favorite of long ago, I really would eat a lot and will be so full too. But after that, back to not eating it again, because I had my fill of it anyway at that one time.

I am not someone who normally overeats. I did have a piece of cake yesterday that was just too much for me and I did not feel well after I ate it. I won't be doing that again soon.

There are times when I overeat, my stomach gets upset. I go to bed to sleep it off and rest. By morning, I'm fine.

I sometimes get a stomach ache if I eat too quickly. Mostly I remember to eat slowly now.
