Blacklist is a television action series that stars James Spader. I sometimes watch this because Wednesday is my off day and my duty is every 3PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
And one of my mobile phones also has a blacklist. That is where I put the cellphone numbers of persons I block. When a message from the blacklist comes, there is no alert tone, but an envelope with a red dot appears on the left upper corner of my phone’s screen.
An example of a blacklisted number is the patronizing colleague, some spam senders (‘your number won P550,000.00, to receive it, just send your name, address, bank account number’, etc), and those who say HI then ask for loads.
Then the whitelist-- but why should be there a whitelist when I can unblock a number?
In this site, is it right to be informed that we are blocked by a user?
Does your phone have the blocking or blacklist app?

i believe the latest editions of mobile phones are equipped with the block app.

@just4him the Nokia 3310 is reintroduced. This mobile phone I believe, is the most durable but it is simple.

Yes but I haven't used that one yet. I just blocked someone on FB Messenger and Y!Mail hihihihihi

we had the CallerID and we can block numbers. i think though that the CallerID is not of use now. we gave back that box to the phone company

@ridingbet The caller ID shows up on the display of our landline phone. We have no boxes. The phone is attached to the Internet router.

that is true and i agree. the numbers are random and i don't anser back because maybe the owner of the number might have his technology of spamming my number and collect my personal data.

i remember James Spader as the gay stylist in the movie Mannequin that starred Kim Catrall. he played that role pretty well, and now, he executes his acting abilities on Blacklist superbly. i love him.

I think most phones these days have a blocking feature. I have had to use it many times with my phone because the last person that has this phone must have lead a very interesting life.

if you have the latest, then maybe you will find it out. it is not much of an app though, we can just ignore anybody who texts or calls us.
