Which Anti Virus System Do You Use?

I have been using Norton Anti Virus for my laptop for awhile now. The subscription is coming due soon. It is a little bit expensive. I am considering changing anti virus programs. I started searching the other day, but I am not sure what would be better. Is Norton Anti Virus the best to use? Or, is there another system that is just as good, better and maybe less expensive?

Norton Antivirus is far to be the best to use. I agree with @thehousewife Malwarebytes is a good one. As a free antivirus you can download and install Avast, it is not bad.

I have used Norton antivirus for years and malware bytes. My son's school computer has McFee and I put the malware bites on. @DaddyEvil recommended the free avast so that is what I am choosing next time when my Norton membership is up.

I just use the free versions of Avast and Malware bytes in combination. I never spent anything for anti virus and I never had a serious infection in years. I just keep them always updated and set my Avast to auto scan on a daily basis and manual scan with MB often even while working I use an app called Max Optimizer for my smart phone

We get a free one that we down load and use. If we have to quit using that one we get another free one.

To be honest, I have no idea. I use Apple products in Florida. At home I use Norton.

I had norton for my first laptop and liked it. But my boyfriend got me the webroot for my newer laptop, which actually expires at the end of this month.. and i like that too.. no issues when using either one.
