What Type Of Cooking Do You Do At Home?

What type of cooking do you do at home? Myself? About a year ago, I was making a new recipe called Cauliflower Pizza in the oven. The oven caught on fire. My roommate got the fire out thankfully. However, realizing I could have burnt my house down, I got quite upset. So... I swore to myself never to use the stove/oven again. I am now a crockpot and microwave user. As I do most of the cooking for the 3 of us roommates AND work at home, the crockpot and microwave save me a whole lot of stress. I just either throw the ingredients in the crockpot in the morning or zap it for a few minutes before dinner. Most of the food I prepare is basically based on the Mediterranean lifestyle, of which I grew up on. How about you? pixabay

I use the microwave the least. I cook with the oven and slow cooker, as well as using the stove top. I have an Instant Pot arriving from Amazon tomorrow and am really looking forward to using it.

I got an Instant Pot for Christmas and love it. However, because I did the quick steam release with several meals, it's hard to get the scent out of my house.

@1creekgirl The smell of good food kind-of makes the house seem more like a home...

@db20747 As I am a Roman Catholic, I would love a fish dinner from my local church. However, they want $9.00 for a fish dinner. I simply cannot afford.

I've just started using a slow cooker in the last couple of days, it's going quite nicely (yesterday's beef stew was delicious, today's lamb one not so good)

I do almost all of my cooking on the stove top or in the oven. Sometimes I use my Instant Pot. I don't cook with a CrockPot and the microwave is just for steaming vegetables or reheating leftovers.
