He told me he’s 'sick’ but I thought it was just the flu or something. He slowly became inactive on FB and for a social media entrepreneur like him, it was unusual. Yet I didn’t ask. In a photo of one of our common friends where he was tagged, I couldn’t recognize him in his sunken cheeks and drastic weight loss. There was definitely a problem but I didn’t ask. I should have had. But he’s always so full of life. Always laughing. And I honestly thought I’d see him again. But he passed away because of colon cancer and now I’m so full of guilt. I’d never see him again.
P.S.

No point in feeling guilt it doesn't change anything but learn a lesson and always make sure to make sure every relationship is in a position that you wouldn't feel guilty if it suddenly ends, we never know when the last day of life will be.

@sol_cee Sad is natural and it is always sad to lose someone unexpectedly.

So sad. Like what they say, life we have here is just borrowed time. We never really know when our time comes. Live like it's our last day on earth, that's what I always remind myself to do.

One of the many things we do... we always assume that it's okay, even though we know it's not. Until it's too late.
