my moment of calm today

My son is in his Gymboree class with the other half, which means I get about 45 minutes to myself. Since i had some credit on a Starbucks gift card, I walked to the other side of the mall, got myself some coffee and a breakfast sandwich, and have been sitting here and catching up on notifications on my phone.
I'm not sure what the rest of the day will bring -- likely the usual chaos and the endless chore of picking up toys -- but I do enjoy having this weekly moment of calm all to myself.

I like these breaks. When I want to feel better and enjoy my free moments I go to Starbuck and order a tasty coffee. I sit alone and have my coffee and I will feel good.

It was very nice, just sitting there with my coffee and eavesdropping on the conversations around me while looking through things on my phone.

I do both of those things, although things still get scattered. I'm about to rotate toys again.

I always get my Starbucks when I am at Safeway. Never seen one in a mall before.
