The Government of India is in favour of passive euthanasia. The patient can write a will to die with dignity rather than keep them alive with artificial support. I am in favour and on my way to writing a will.
In a landmark ruling, Supreme Court recognised the right to die with dignity and legalised passive euthanasia on Friday. A Constitution bench comprising Chief Justice of India Dipak Kumar Misra, Justice AK Sikri, Justice AM Khanwilkar, Justice DY Chandrach

I agree to it. I don't want a long life full of disease and pains. It means nothing. It only wasting money to gain poor quality lifetime.

We wrote our living will several years ago to spare the kids from making the decision.

Being alive with machines is just borrowed life. Having said that, it is not as easy for family members to give up. Some people say that our lives are not just our own, it is also of the peoples who's lives are impacted by our choices and decisions. Patients can feel weak and want to give up, family members can be stronger and help them pull through for a bit more.....but it will always just be a bit.

It is not you who is giving consent dear @NoorNoor! Consent has to be from the person in his will while is in sane state! Thanks!

Please don't take otherwise dear @NoorNoor ! I meant if a person is giving consent when he is in sane state then in my opinion that can't be a killing! Thanks!
