Princess knocked my glases to the floor last night. I cannot see at all. Hubby will take me to get them fixed if possible. I will update andedit this when I can. Have a great day.

I am sorry. I always keep an old pair in the drawer, just in case.

@LadyDuck I am all set now. I have the old repaired ones, and some new ones ordered and a pair of "readers" which I cannot read in. In the past I would have my old ones tinted for prescription sunglasses.

I think I donated all my old ones to charity when we moved. I shouldn't have, but I did.

@GardenGerty I keep my old eyeglasses. I remember when my brother broke his eyeglasses while we were vacationing, it has been a serious problem.

Do you have an older pair that you can use to get along until you get new ones?

No, I think I donated them all to charity a while back. At any rate, I could not find them.

@GardenGerty Oh, that's too bad. I actually have all my old specs... they came in handy when I was in the film biz.

That's why I always have some cheapo glasses in the house and in my car. Over here you can buy them for a couple of pounds, and they are good when you break or mislay your proper galsses.

Those are available here, but do not correct enough for what I need. I did in fact purchase a pair, and could have managed to drive from home to work and back on plain country hiways, but for anything else they would be useless.

I would be lost if I broke my glasses - certainly as far as typing and reading go. I hope you're able to get them fixed.

I hope they can get fixed! If not, I did order glasses online at a very affordable price!

My correction is very complicated and I would not trust it.

I am tempted, though, to try it, because I have friends who have done so. I will have a really good new pair, this repaired pair, and possibly I can get proper correction online.

Oh no that's awful news. You don't have any for backup?

No, I think I donated them all to charity. I had this pair four years.
