Was Brexit about immigration?

Vince Cable, a once prominent British left wing Member of Parliament, has commented that older people who voted Brexit (which was most of them across all social classes) want to return to a world of a mostly white Britain. It essentially labelled most Brexit voters as racist. I’m pretty sure a sizeable chunk of them did vote on immigration but that did not decide the referendum vote. The vote was decided by those who DID NOT vote, smug left wing liberals voting for the Status Quo (not that rock band) and so there vote was not needed so they could stay in bed (students) as they couldn’t lose. Wrong! Either way it’s not fair to generalise that the vote was racist. A story that should have broken by now that has not broken by now is one of the reasons why people are polarised on immigration. Negative immigration stories are often repressed by the BBC and mainstream media because they see them as too sensitive, like the child sex abuse cases in the British Pakistani community here. It was always thought paedophilia and child abuse was a white crime but we now know that was because ethnic minority paedophilia was ‘left alone’ by the cops and politicians for sensitive politically correct reasons. Now it has been reported a correction has taken place and proportional. If all news was reported on immigration, good and bad, people then would have a case to vote on immigration. The story in question as the amount of fraud around the Grenfell Tower tragedy, the dreadful fire that killed 71 people in London last summer, killing mostly immigrants of dark skin. Freedom of information act revealed that most of the residents were unemployed or asylum seekers, in receipt of welfare. That statistic is still being repressed in the mainstream media. AT the time the story was reported as hard working immigrants were in a substandard tower block accommodation because they were black and brown people, the angle to make white people feel guilty again. It was not the case. It was simply a freak accident and the tower black company will be held accountable in court for inflammable materials and other safety concerns that caused the disaster. Nobody wanted to kill anybody that day. We hear today that an Afghan national that had been previously convicted of another fraud had a relative in the tower but claimed to have not one but 13 members of his family in the small flat so to fraud money and compensation for 13 people after the fire. He claimed cash from various disaster funds and was housed in exclusive temporary accommodation in London whilst he waited to be re-housed. Because of the sensitive political debate over the fire the residents got an easy ride thereafter and many still living in free temporary accommodation as part of the deal. This type of crime is repressed because it goes against the liberal TV media’s agenda. All races commit crime but if you oppress one groups faults then it makes others look racist pointing it out. I think this type of sensitive media coverage is one of the reasons why the Brexit vote was won. There have been 61 fraud cases investigated around a tower that had 225 residents. Quite simply fraud is more prevalent in some countries and shame not attached to the crime.
