Lately there is a video about this case. A passenger had an instant noodles in the high speed train but a nearby women got mad to it. As she was sensitive to the smell of instant noodles. Perhaps some people will mind the smell from instant noodles, but there is no rule that it doesn't allow to have instant noodles in the high speed train. If this woman really couldn't stand it, at least I think it is better for her to have a friendly tone to say it rather than getting mad like a crazy woman. So she seems much more unreasonable in my opinion. There can be various kinds of reasons for people to have instant noodles in the high speed train. First of all, it is cheaper. This is why I think it is acceptable. If she minds it, perhaps I shall say I am sensitive to the perfume smell of Chanel

I think she could have shifted to another seat. It does seem a bit inconsiderate to get so upset about it.

If she could say it politely, I think the situation will not turn so worse.

Eat noodles in the high speed train but don't throw them on the floor for others to step on and slip.

There are instant noodles that have a strong smell especially if it is eaten inside an air conditioned room. Maybe the woman is just sensitive to the smell that is why she got mad. But she should have told the person eating in a nice way...

I often think the durian will be bothering for others. The instant noodles have the similar smell like other food.

I think nobody will have the need to have instant noodles in bus or coach. But it is OK in the high speed train or train as usually it can last for a longer time.

As long as the train is not wiggling, I can eat snacks while waiting.

If it is allowed, no one should complain because everyone is entitle to eat as long as it is not prohibited. If the woman cannot stand the smell, then she should move in a different place then otherwise politely ask the person eating to move to other area..

I think it can be also bothering if it is a smell from pizza. The food does have the smell. If it is not durian, I think it shall be OK.

You made me laugh because I am sensitive to the smell of Chanel NÂș 5, it gives me a horrible headache. My mother-in-law used it all the time. I never sit near her inside the house, because of the Chanel.
