Improving my typing skills!

Ha! I've realized that just in 2 days my typing speed has increased! I hadn't been on Facebook regularly for over 2 years. Even then, I didn't post anything with any real length. I used to be able to type almost as fast ask I could talk. I would actually have to say what I want to type out loud. If I didn't, my hands would try and type as fast as I think. In which case, I would skip whole phrazes just to keep up with thought. Of course, this isn't something I would notice until I had to go back and reread what I typed. Often times, I would butcher the whole insert and it would be easier and time efficient just to start from the beginning.

@mohit459 Yes. I spend a lot of time on a keyboard. My handwriting sucks, now. I rarely use a pen or pencil.

Thats great! It is also a form of exercise when we move our hands around like typing.

@KindredSoul yes. Stretching is always the key or else it will painful to move it.

It is. Especially, if you remember to stretch to prevent carpal tunnel. Otherwise, typing can be hurtful rather than helpful.

It takes some hours of practice but most definitely, people can improve upon their typing speed and accuracy.

It's muscle memory for me and most people in my position. I just keep forgetting to expect. And once I notice it, it makes me happy. It really doesn't take much to make me happy.

True. But as my band instructor would also say practice makes permanent. And you could practice something perfectly wrong.

You practiced a lot. I am not so good at typing. I still type a bit slower. Even if I write daily. But I type from my smartphone.
