Prepping for YouTube

One of the things I have been working towards is content for a YouTube channel. For example, my 30 day challenges or researches, such as they are.
I'm not one to wear makeup, but I think if I actually record myself, I will be. Day to day I know I don't need makeup. But I went to a wedding last year and I was asked to be in the pictures. Although, I'm told I am very attractive, the camera doesn't like me. I'm just not photogenic. Maybe one in 100 pictures comes out nicely. I protested. But how much can you protest to the bride before hurting her feelings....on her wedding day!
So I did yield. I bought makeup for the first time in 15 years. I think that was for my 10 year high school reunion. Wouldn't you know it, a great many of the pictures were beautiful!
I'm going to learn how to put on mascara. I don't like the stuff. I keep poking myself in the eye and it takes forever for me to get it on right. I'm so thankful for YouTube tutorials.
I actually learned how to cut my own hair! YAY!

There are very good makeup tutorials on youtube and instagram. I am sure that you will learn it soon.
I cut my hair once following a tutorial. It wasn't the best decision.

@KindredSoul It is really good! I guess we can study a lot of things from youtube. Well, haircutting didn't work for me, but I will keep watching youtube tutorials when I need them.

I was going to reply to your comment but it became a rant. LOL! I'm going to use it as a post instead.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Mine was better that I had expected and worked out very well. I will NEVER go to a salon again.

Makeup itself isn't a problem. In fact, I think it is fun. But day to day...I don't think it's good for the skin and I have better things to do with my time. It's just that mascara thing!

Wow. That's an improvement! Like you, I'm not also good in makeups. I only put some during events.
