I sold a pair of vintage loudspeakers Monday night!

Much of the "fun money" I make is by restoring vintage loudspeakers owned by others. Their owners bring them, I restore them in about three weeks, and the owner takes them home. But on Monday evening, I actually sold a pair of Dynaco A-25s I had restored about a year ago. I had held them too long for a fella in San Luis Obispo (he never came North to pick them up), and finally relisted then on Craigslist a couple of months ago. They brought in $260. I like it when I sell the "extra" speakers I have here, because it clears up space for future projects. I live in a relatively small apartment, European style. Do you have enough space where you live for extra stuff? Or are you space-limited, like me?

Great speakers - bet they sound good too. I'm very restricted for space in my bedsit flat

@TheHorse A small flat with just one main room so the bed is effectively in the main living room or sitting room, hence bedsit - featured in this song by Soft Cell - Bedsitter

What does "bedsit" mean? I don't know that we use that term here.

What kind of stuff are you selling? I'm about to embark on another "purge," throwing out old papers, boxes, and other things I don't need.

I live in a four bedroom house with lost of space for storage, however, because I'm a hoarder, I seem to can't part ways with old stuff and they accumulate over time.

Oh oh. I hope you can figure out how to part with some stuff. I can think of reasons to keep all of my audio (stereo) gear. But I try to think of better reasons to part with some of it.

My husband always fill of the available space. Our house is big, but full of stuff now. It was a good idea to relist them.

We have oodles of space really but I like to keep it that way. I love our big lounge. We can have a small concert in it or set it up as a photo studio or just spread out tables to make photo frames or whatever. It's great that you sold the speakers.

A pair of Acoustic Research AR-3as and another pair of KLH 17s are in the mail. Please set them up such that they enhance the aesthetics of your most spacious rooms.

@JudyEv Would he welcome the speakers and meticulously set them up? But don't you like the Danish Modern look?

Nah space here is non existent! Too much music gear photography kits and sports stuff takes up whatever free space we have for storage! We rotate stuff between our apartment, a storage locker and a garage depending on the time of year
