@Hannihar gosh you are right, the films (quite a few of them) go back to 1974 - somehow remember it as a TV show that never was - false memory syndrome. Doh!

I recall the movie. I am too emotional to see such and I like entertainers to have a good laugh. I was captivated by cowboy films when I was a boy and Benhur - siva

@Shiva49 siva, it is very emotional and I cried a lot so I can see why you would not want to see it but the end was so good and the dog is so smart.

Yes I started it with my granddaughter but we had to stop part way through so will look forward to finishing it soon! It was great so far.

I do remember seeing the movie, but it has been so long it would be a new movie to me. I don't remember what made it sad. Might have to add it to the list and watch it again.

Was it a very old show? I recall that one but did not watch it. I am just wondering if it's a remake that you watched as I don't think Netflix has very old shows but I could be wrong.
