First day of my fully retirement. Made an apple pie

well today is my first day of full retirement. What do I do.Made an apple pie to start off my week. Did not go to the club.My energy level is low. Probably go a couple of times.Will see. This is sad as I lost one of the last friend that I have. My generation is fading away. Well lets get out of this rut and enjoy my day here. the photo is mine,My apple pie finished at nine this morning.

I'm sorry you lost a friend. Your pie looks pretty nice. We had Chinese for dinner at a restaurant and I ended up with pineapple fritter and ice-cream, one of my favourite desserts.

@amadeo We took our relatives into Bunbury to catch a bus then went to a Chinese restaurant. There is a also one in our own little town. Chinese food is popular here although I'm sure most of it is very 'westernised' for the local people.

Making an apple pie sounds like a productive thing to do to start your day off. I'm sorry that you lost your friend and that's what is as you say one of the hardest things about getting older. I hope you do enjoy the rest of your day.
