What should I have for dinner tonght? What did you have?

I'm in something of a "between" space. I had half of a burrito for late lunch, and had planned on picking up some Thai curry chicken for dinner. But it's 8 PM and I'm only moderately hungry. I don't know whether it's worth it to order Thai curry. I have frozen Indian lamb and Indian creamed spinach here. And I also have some Trader Joe's Kun Pao Chicken that I could make. What would you do in my shoes? What did you have for dinner?

I had left overprosciutto stuffed chicken from a restaurant last night. My fiancé had Panda Express I would just make whats in the fridge since I don't like going after night because I feel the food quality is not that fresh =P

My friend's Thai restaurant is really good, but I'm just not sure I'm hungry enough to warrant ordering out.

@TheHorse OoooOoo if its your friends then yes =) But since you're not entirely hungry hungry, what you have at home will do! And when you are hungry next time, Thai on the list?

Snoopy you. I'm answering so sit back and take notes: beet with orange segments salad. Rice vinegar in there with dill and white beans. Home hummus on home bread. Lettuce. Dessert: plain Greek yogurt, sliced banana, coconut and a little maple syrup.

@TheHorse A friend gave me the cookbook Forks Over Knifes. I'm trying to not eat so many carbs like noodles. I tend to eat noodles and rice more than vegies so tonight was one of those better for us suppers.

We had ham and beans, and Panera roasted tomato bread, and baby carrots and lots of visiting along side of it. In your shoes I would probably throw a potato in the microwave and eat it.

How was the Panera roasted tomato bread? We have a Panera distribution center near us. Yeah, I think I'm just going to graze tonight.

We had Chinese in Bunbury last night after taking relatives to catch a bus so we've just had the leftovers for lunch.

@TheHorse They have a huge menu. I'm partial to Sesame prawn toast as an entree and last night's were fat and plump. Then we had Malaysian butter curried king prawns and sweet and sour pork. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to new dishes so I often stick to sweet and sour. We never have it at home so when I get the chance, it's often my choice.

This is the second time you have asked the question and second time I had the same thing that I did when you asked previously. Rajma Chawal. (Razma curry and Rice) Have you tried butter chicken?

@vandana7 No way! I can't even be in the same room with ANY sort of non-veg. Even eggs. Their smell alone bothers me. I can tolerate it for a time. It doesn't bother me if anyone eats non-veg but it does bother me when they mix unwashed utensils while we are still eating.

I still could. Just nice small portion. But I think I'll go to bed instead. Never mind the slightly crisp chicken, the sweet and tangy sauce, the onion and garlic that I add...hmm...

I would do the Trader Joe's for dinner, we had some leftover chicken I made in the crockpot the other night that I cooked in Cream of Chicken soup so I made some steamed rice, heated the chicken and shredded it in a pan and put it on top of the rice. It was good

We call those nights, popcorn nights. When we aren't really hungry or want to cook we have snacks. most of the time it is a bag of popcorn. Sometimes it is a small salad. We had ham, veggies, and alfredo noodles for dinner.

Heh. Clam chowder is one of the things I USUALLY keep around here for when I'm only moderately hungry. But I forgot to get some at Trader Joe's. I grazed.
