Appointment tomorrow

Man it has been a job to get this appointment. I had called last Friday and she said he likes to see his patients that had surgery a week after the surgery, well nice to know since I wasn't told. I told her he said he was up here in our town every other week. She said no he isn't there til the middle of April. WELL I CANT WAIT THAT LONG!! TO even see him on the 23rd of this month we would have to go to a town that is about an hour away. Hubby cant take off more time. I took the appointment thou trying to figure out what to do. Then they used this suction machine thing on it and it stopped working on Saturday! So I read the book that came with it and called the company. The guy said he knows it was not made to last past 7 days, which again I didn't know. That it should be removed soon as it wasn't made to be on without working! Panic mode, I mean will the incision become infected what?! So I called today again and told her I have to see someone tomorrow. So we have to go to Erie and see someone I have never even met. What a mess. Then my PCP said she will get my results on the Pathology only if I come in for a Wellness check up. That just made me mad!! Holding my results hostage is how I feel about that!! Anyways Im going to ask the doctor tomorrow when the results should be in and then I will call to get them! I'm so sick of doctors.

My dad had one of those suction thingies when he had surgery, they aren't meant to be on long term! I hope you were able to get it removed. I bet you're sick of doctors, you've been through the ringer with all your health issues!

Yes got it removed the next day from the doctor we got into see. He said we could have taken it off! No one of course told us that! The last 4 years have sucked ... that is how long I was going thru this. Now just looking forward day by day to getting better and enjoying the summer. Hopefully nothing else happens! lol

@Ithink I'm glad you got it off! Gotta love when nobody relays information to you. Fingers crossed that you are able to enjoy the summer and nothing else happens. (Be careful not to slip and break any bones like I did, ha!)

Doctors are in the business of making money. Each visit, consult, prescription, is another charge to the insurance. It doesn't matter if it inconveniences us or hinders our good health
