We have this App named as JioTV App provided by our mobile service provider which provides us with 600 cable channels which can be watched live or later. We recently blew up our cable set top box a reason of which our cable watching on the TV was discontinued but the JioTV seems to be more convenient to watch everything live on the phone. Do you have TV Apps like we have that allows you to watch live cable tv channels on your smartphones and if yes do you use it? Image Credit:- Pixabay.

Yeah I also would not have chosen this option my set top box would not have blown up, why spend thousand rupees on a new set top box when I can watch everything on my phone anytime any place. You a student or working don't spare time for entertainment?

@Icydoll Yeah I also don't regret having cable at home now as the set top box is blown up, just informed the cable guy to discontinue it for a few months from now.

@nitirrbb7 Nitin, My computer technician is great and he put Netflix on my phone, TV and computer. I have watched something on my phone but it took up so much of my battery so stopped doing it.

@Hannihar I am sorry actually meaning old is the hardware that inside might not be as one of the latest ones which consume less power, see I also have a smartphone of which the battery last for two complete days with a heavy usage like watching tv surfing sharing wifi the whole day even leaves me with 50% battery.

I prefer watching on our big screen TV when I do watch TV. The phone is too small for me to enjoy.

@nitirrbb7 yes, on my plan. When it's used up, I think it's another five dollars for 250k more MB!
