Have You Ever Fell Asleep In Office?

This is more embarrassing than it sounds when you actually are in that situation. Was terribly late for bed yesterday night and a reason of which something dreadful happened in my office. I was in middle of an important meeting where my boss was updating us all about the new client and his requirements. I was already in clouds barely able to keep my eyes open because of less sleep yesterday night. And all of a sudden bang! my head just bounced back on the meeting table. Everyone was stunned for a moment including my boss and then everyone was laughing at me because they realized that I was falling asleep in middle of the meeting. I looked at my boss if he was angry at me but he too was giggling about the situation. That was the most embarrassing moment of my entire professional life. Image Credit:- Pixabay

Never fell asleep in the office, but there were a few times when I nearly fell asleep in the boardroom during work training. There's something about sitting and listening to an instuctor go on and on and on for 8 hrs a day that makes a person drowsy. :-)

Yeah I already had a few leaves earlier this month and never wanted to fall back on my works deadline. My boss also insisted that I take a break if I am stressing a lot.

Really nice of your husband to have backed you up while in college days, its good to divert yourself while you feel sleep in the office. I had no choice as the meeting was on and just could not talk to anyone but focus on what the boss had to say and just dozed off

I only nearly fell asleep before but that is because I had been on the site for nearly 40 hours without sleeping.

I cannot leave my place as my company is having a buy over of another company. It was a long meeting before a deal could be cut

That is good that your Boss get the matter in good sense. If there is another person in your place the same thing can happen. Because sleepy needs sleep. Tired needs rest

Yeah lucky me or things would have not been in my favor, but that was unintentional and it was natural that I lost control over myself

I never fall asleep at the workplace even when I am working alone. Normally I lie down to sleep but once I recall having skipped my station as I fell asleep on the train - siva

I may have not slept much, but yes I have a taken secret power naps a lot of times. Sometimes, I may have to work in night shifts and that time when not many people are around the floor, I take a quick power nap.Usually I always feel sleepy in office after lunch or dinner.

Its understandable that people doing night shift often fall a sleep. Even I do feel very sleep after having lunch or dinner
