Seaweed

Seaweed in its various forms offers numerous health benefits, but has not traditionally been used in western diets. I have started using a torn-up nori sheet (the kind that is used for sushi) in my salads, which gives them extra flavour and a nice texture. I also take spirulina as a supplement. Do you use seaweed? If you do, what forms do you use, and how do you use it?

I've never had seaweed, but I have heard it has a lot of nutritional value.

I do not use seaweed and never will. It just does not sound good to me.

I had a wonderful seaweed salad at a Japanese Sushi restaurant in January. It was really good. I wouldn't mind having those more often.

I've only ever had the odd meal of sushi. I'm sure there are others here who use it.
