Friday Accident

Hello everyone.
Friday is one of ny laundry day. I finished cleaning the rooms and change bedsheets too. This will all go to the washing machine. I try to finish all the chores by friday so it will be a ligjt Saturday for me. So do not be surprised when I tell I will alsi do the ironing if the clothes later. Good thing the sun is high up and the wind abundant now.
Just finishing my laundry a while ago in the garage I heard a motor passing by followed by a loud clash. When I open the gate, the neighbor's car park infront of their house has been hut by the motor and some parts on the bumper fell off the road.
Reason for the accident: the motorcycle driver is reading a text message from his phone!!!! 
Car drivers now are prohibited from using their cellphones to prevent accudents, what more if you are motorcycle driver?!?

Oh my! Motorcycle driver - riding his bike and reading a text, that is way too dangerous and definitely screams an accident. I hope everyone is okay and he learns his lesson!!

i've seen people eating while on a motorcycle. i've seen someone with a sleeping (or drunk) passenger behind him.
so was the car owner there? how did they settle it?
it's hard to believe people aren't aware these things happen, yet they still do it.

@rakski it's also my niece's recognition day today. i understand if they prefer to settle it later. such an inconvenience.

texting while driving should be a big NO No traffic rule. unfortunately, there are some who are 'pasaway'. when i receive a text message or a call while driving, i park the car on the side of the road and respond or text back.
