Day Twenty One: Are you a fitness guru, or a couch potato? Talk about your exercise habits. Well I've never been a fitness guru, as I absolutely hate exercising. But I have been a slight "couch potato" for the past year. As there was a lot of personal things that happened at the beginning of last year, along with other things that happened throughout the year. And I do say slight, because although I do watch a lot of tv - which there's nothing wrong with that if you enjoy it - I have also exercised off and on throughout the last year, and am often running around after kids I'm babysitting; or taking my nieces and nephews to the parks and running around with them. Plus am almost always on the go three days out of every week, and most afternoons / nights. As for the exercise habits.. I usually just go for walks when it's nice out, chase around kids I babysit - as stated above - and use the treadmill and bikes at the gym. Plus here and there I'll use the leg press, and other weighted machines at the gym.

I actually miss the gym. Just not worth paying the amount when I would only be able to go for an hour or two on the weekend. I loved the treadmill and weight machines. Hated the bike! Anyways I would say that in the winter I'm a chair potato and in the summer on the go more.

@Courtlynn Ours was way more, the bikes hurt my butt! lol And you cant even get in for a day. You have to be a member.

@Ithink oh wow. Well ours is Planet fitness. So i get guest every trip, free massage and free tanning with my $20 a month. I just never do masdage or tanning.

I only pay $20 a month and it's like $10 a day if you don't have a memebership. So long as I go 2 days a month its worth it for me. Plus, my mom goes with me so thats like 4 days with 2 days pay. My mom prefers the bike over treadmill. Lol

I am a mixture of both! I do gym 5-6x a week for a hour. I do stretches, sit ups, machines, stair master, elliptical, biking, it varies.

@Courtlynn I don't sit on the couch to watch TV, usually on the bed :) So Bed potato!

I think most are a mix but always want to go with saying they aren't a couch potato. Lol

My exercise consists on a daily morning walk up to an hour. But I also walk to the library and other places sometimes. Plus I frequently get off that couch and move about.

exactly. not many just stay on a couch / bed etc. especially since you can do things while watching tv, as I do all the time (:

I do dancing and walking that's only my excercise.. I'm not either couch or bed potato haha because I don't watch TV much. Most of them are here for fun interaction and me too dear friend

I am exercising at home every day, even just for 30 minutes ,stretching and I use tummy trimmer exerciser and I always watch Susana Yabar's videos on YouTube , it's all about fitness.

I have a pedometer on at work, and genraly walk 2-3 miles every day, I also walk two miles before work, and if I have a morning or mid day shift, usually walk 2 miles after. so I'm getting plenty of exercise, plus I kickbox.
