I see sparrows in our bird bath or are they?

This is the first time I see two different species of birds swimming at the same time in our bird bath and I feel the brown ones are sparrows. My excitement is because there was news recently that sparrows are slowly vanishing Sparrows in India used to be a common scene specially in shops where rice is sold. They would help themselves from open gunny bags and shopkeepers welcomed them.

It is good to know that they are your guests May be they are migrating to a safe place rather than in the city.

It is nice that you got this picture. I also like seeing birds in the fountain.

There are plenty of sparrows that come to my bird feeders. I can recognize a few of them, those that come regularly. They are not even scared if I go out.

So cool but that pale one is kind of different and the dark faced ones are also unusual to me from Canada- different looking species. What are the ones without the circles?

I am not sure what kind of birds those are. That is great that they are using your bird bath.
