That's Using My Noodle!

Seven weeks away from my family. (Two weeks with house guests ) I've used the opportunity to finish several quilting projects of my own, as well as one for my daughter. Three new projects were started, two of which are also completed. A small quilt, using the excess (waste) from another quilt needed to be sandwiched and pinned before quilting it. I was glad that my pool noodles had accompanied me on the trip east. The connecting poles were not included, so only a small quilt could be put together this way. This was definitely using my noodle.

I read about this method....and ignored it. Someone share a You Tube video and after I watched it, I thought, it's worth a try. I was hooked.

A pool noodle is the foam pipe that people use in their swimming pools as a toy....

It looks good, have I missed the explanation of the connecting poles in another discussion?

The pool noodles make the sandwiching and pinning of a quilt much easier. Not hard on the knees or the back.

A very multi functional noodle. If it hadn't done what I wanted....my granddaughter would have had several new pool noodles.
