My husband is looking up houses in North Carolina

He’d better knock it off. I can’t move anywhere for 7 more years and I’m not really interested in moving away from my family. Yes, it is cheaper to live there but there are drawbacks as well. Ugh. I hope he gets this idea out of his head soon.

I can’t retire until I work 7 more years. Then I’ll have worked 25 and will have lifetime health benefits and my full pension.

@andriaperry no I’d lose my tenure and my current salary level. Makes no sense to leave my current position. Plus I’m only certified to teach in NJ

The weather will no better there overall generally than where you are. There is always a price to pay moving to so called cheaper places.
