A few on here thought America would do nothing about gun control after a terrible 2017 there but I knew that the Florida shooting was the final straw. Obama was weak on Sandy Hook, the moment this rebellion should have started. Maybe it was because most gun crime in America is done by black Americans, his voters, or maybe he wasn't as good as his speeches. Either way its happening right now and those kids protesting in Washington DC will be sending shivers down Trumps back. They are brilliant and they will win. Why, because they are the targets of those guns and if just one is murdered in a school after today then Trump is responsible. I get that Trump is a sociopath and he doesn't care about his kids or anyone else but those around him do and they are subject to political will and funding and he will fall on this. I, like you, are fed up with gun lobby morons blaming mental illness for this crisis. Since Columbine some 197,000 children have been involved in school shootings in America of which 287 were killed in 197 different schools. We will be At 200 schools by the summer at this expanding and alarming rate of shootings. Eventually some child of a notable person will be gunned down in those schools and the law suits and talks shows will follow. Two US gun makers are filing for Chapter 11 and you can feel something is changing now. There is absolutely no reason why an 18-year-old kid needs, or can, buy a machine gun in America. None. Sure, keep your handguns in case those scary black men come after you, you are so paranoid of . Yes a single shot rifle is fine for hunting, if just to give the animal a chance. But arguing the right to own automatic rifles is pathetic, especially when a kid can legally own one three years before he can legally drink a beer. Grow the fluck up.
