I read in stories that two different personalities attract each other and they stay together forever. I think for love people should have some similarities, their ways can be different but goal should be same. What do you think??

I think that there should be an extent to which two lovers could differ in order for them to last. If they were complete opposites, they would never agree on anything. And based on what I see on lasting couples with opposite personalities, they tend to have something similar with each other while their opposite characteristics complement what their partner lacks.

As long as they agree on the most important decisions, then it's fine.

My parents often disagree about things, anything from politics to what furniture to buy for their house. But they agree on the more important issues.

This depends on how you work things out and the decision to love each other despite all the differences.

I think there needs to be a balance. You need to share some similarities so that you can get along, but there should be some differences that complement each other. For example, if you hate cooking but your partner loves to cook, or if you are self-critical but your partner is encouraging, these can work well together.
