Do you get gift cards or give them? Do you have several in your purse'wallet that you may or may not use? Would you be upset if someone you gave a gift card to cashed it in our exchanged it for another one? Here is a list of atleast nine places you can go to do just that. (If you look some are a bit different than others)

Once something is given it is theirs. No need to be offended. I buy gift cards as gifts and I would really like the recipients to use them.

I make them and people buy them from me. I have put little gift cards in things when I give to people.

I wouldn't be offended. I still have $68 worth of gift cards form last Christmas that I haven't used yet.

I try to find a gift as that takes more thought which to me shows more caring. But I have given gift cards. I try to buy at stores I know they go to but would not be offended if they exchanged it for a different stores card.

Great information! I am going to use this for sure. No, I would not be offended. The idea is for the person to have a gift they can use. What is the point of giving someone a gift card to a store where they don't shop. If they can exchange it to buy something they want I am all in favor.
