So Very Tired

I still have comments from yesterday to answer, but tonight I'm just too tired to sit here at the computer. The truth is I don't want to be at the computer at all. This is the second day my friend has had lots of time to help so we've been continuing our work cleaning the garage. She's almost finished her part. After taxes I'll have to get back to work on my part and then we both will have to attack the mess at the other house to see how we can use some of the furniture there to make my husband's room more comfortable for him. I really need to exercise more, but the work doesn't allow much time, nor the taxes, unless I cut way down on my online work. I'm doing that this week. So if you don't see me here as often and I seem a bit behind on answering comments, don't worry. I just need to take a break. Do you ever get thoroughly tired of your online life and want to retreat from it for a while?

@bagarad Yes I am. I suppose everyone gets satiated no matter what the activity. I will get back there hopefully soon enough as I have a good rating and I earn good too.

Yes, I do. I went through that last week. I didn't even want to work on a book. I know, that's really bad. Take all the time you need.

@bagarad I'm sure it did help. Anytime I'm in God's Word, it helps me.

In the summer I am busy being it doing things with my kids or in nature and I stay offline for the most part. Good luck getting all that stuff done. Seeing this post I won't worry if I don't see posts from you. Had you not posted it and we're gone long though I would worry because of the racing heart issues.

@bagarad I have had my account hacked a few times. I remember one time clearly where they took out three amounts of $400. Apparently after that there is a stop to it so they couldn't drain anymore. I didn't notice it for a month until my statement arrived as I never use the online banking. The money was immediately refunded to me while they investigated. I live no where near Florida where the transactions occurred. I got a letter a few weeks later saying the investigation was complete. I hope whoever it was that did it was caught and put in jail.

I appreciate knowing my absence might be noticed. I've been better today and even got out for a walk. I had to do something after talking to four different representatives from CitiBank about getting access to online banking. After 28 years of banking with them I can't get into online banking unless I get a debit card, which I have resisted thus far. They say it's for security. Yet if they steal a credit card number or the card itself, the my liability is limited. If they get hold of my debit card, they can clean out my entire account. I'm trying to figure out why that is more secure. I was on the phone with them for almost two hours, but still have to get the stupid debit card to be able to manage my account online.

@bagarad opening toy packages on Christmas takes forever. They have so many ways of attaching the toys to the package so they can't be stolen... Plastic tags, wire, screws, rope it's crazy. Most toys have a few different on each. Sadly even with all this I see toys out of their packages when we are shopping. Hopefully it at least slows the shoplifters down so they can be seen on camera and caught. Shoplifting drives prices up for us consumers! Yep all the viruses that can damage our computer and paying for virus protection and computer repair men to fix things when an issue isn't detected by malware protection or virus protection. Costs just keep waking up all because people are thief's! I burn all the papers with any private information on them.

I don't know if I could stay away that long, but I like not feeling I have to be online.

@epiffanie Agree. I was ready to come back here after just a couple of days, and actually got two blog posts written on Saturday. I'll do anything to avoid working on tax returns.

I realize my husband may not be with me as long as I hope he will be. I want to make our remaining time together count and make sure we both do all we can do to make the time one of us is widowed easier on the other. The computer will always be here. My husband may not be.

@bagarad Spend all the time with your husband. I loss my first husband to cancer and it was a very sad time in my life. I was left to raise four kids on my own. Your husband should always come first. Take care of him and yourself.

I don't know if I'll ever finish all those things, but I enjoy being online more if I know I'm tackling those jobs instead of putting my head in the sand and ignoring them.

I don't spend that much time online beyond myLot and even that is too much really. I make sure I spend plenty of time away from it.

I have several blogs and contribute to another. I have to rethink all of them after I finish my taxes, which I haven't really started yet. I have to get the new bank account settled and the old one eliminated so that my life can go somewhat back to normal when it comes to paying bills.

Yes, I still do most especially when I had to buy my supplies for my business, run errands from my house to my parents house and meeting with loved ones. I just have to be there. I wish I could half my body and do separate things at the same time.

@bagarad that is so true. Just needs to prioritize which one needs to be finished first.
