Star Wars is off my needles

Star Wars is off my needles I was hoping to get it finished last night but decided to wait until today and knit in daylight. It’s turned out ok, a little big, guess I should have used a size down in the needles but oh well. One of the top motifs doesn’t appear to look right in the photo but looks ok. I’m sure my son will be more than happy when he sees it, not sure when sometime this week. Time to rest and put my needles away for a time before I start on finishing things off which I’ve been meaning to do for some time.

You know what? If a person was not at all familiar with Star Wars, the designs in the hat could very well look like winter motifs to them. I'm trying to figure out what to start on since I have the sock knitting club socks finished. I have yarn for a baby afghan or I could get started on crocheting some iron skillet handle covers for the spring craft shows that are coming up.

@kevin1877uk I started crocheting on a baby blanket for the craft bazaar that is coming up. I had to rip out 2 or 3 rounds and read the pattern row 4 or 5 times. This is the first time I'm making one from the pattern that I am using.

Even though you spot things that you feel aren't perfect I think this is amazing!

Thank you, the light colour blue was too light and could have been a shade darker.

It is really beautiful. I just wanted to ask, don't your fingers ache, and would the joints not be affected over long term? I am not trying to scare you...just wanted to know because using keyboard results in some problems with palms and wrists

Yes I know what you mean but so far I've been lucky, I can't knit for hours and hours, only at times. I will often take a break and do something else. I also guess it depends on the needles you use, I use Knitpro and Hiyahiya sharps which a very well respected in the knitting community

Lol I guess it could be a winter hat, it's cold here today, nice when the sun comes out, it's the cold wind, I will be so glad when it's summer.

That's a great looking beanie. Not everyone can do Fair Isle.
