David Bailey is what you would call an unsung hero since he has this desire to assist disabled veterans, firemen and police officer by donating free of charge his wooden sticks. Bailey who uses the nickname "Stick Man" since he is disabled himself is doing this act of charity to give away the free wooden walking canes as a way of thanking the brave men and women in the county who risk their lives to save the lives of others. Bailey sells the wooden walking sticks to consumers who need them, the money he makes from the sales of his walking sticks goes to veteran groups free of charge. The only way that Bailey will donate his wooden walking sticks for free is that a police officer, fireman or veteran can prove that they are disabled. With the good publicity that Bailey is getting from the social media, he is hoping that the residents of Carroll County can assist him in giving him old pieces of wood so can make give them away to disabled people who really need them. It is good to see that David did not allow his disability to get in the way of assisting other people in need.
