Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 41 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. This is why we normally go to Cozumel, Mexico on my Spring Break vacation--the weather here isn't very "spring-like" at all. A nice warm beach, turquoise blue water, a margarita, and some shrimp ceviche all sound absolutely wonderful right about now. I slept really well last night. . . possibly because I took 2 muscle relaxers too close together. Oh well, desperate times call for desperate measures. I just called the health clinic and told the nurse that the NSAID the doctor prescribed did absolutely nothing for the pain. She said that the doctor will write me a script for something stronger. We shall see what that is. If it is another stupid alternative anti-inflammatory, I'm just going to give up and start sharing my husband's meds until I can see an orthopedic doctor. No big plans for the day. I'm going to try to see if I can get my hair cut and colored as it needs it desperately. I may also sneak out for lunch at our usual hangout. I need to get out of this house for awhile. My husband keeps telling me to "go do something". My options are limited since I can't go to the gym in my present condition and it is too cold for the beach. What's everyone else up to today?
