My Eldest

My son on their recognition day. I am ecstatic to hear what the teachers told me about my boy. I appreciate them for their support and guidance as second parents. The only thing that they were concerned about was that my boy has a hard time to fight for what he believes. I also find that difficult for him to change. But i hope that when the time comes, i or he will learn to let go of my hands little by little each day. I believe that boys need to become a man one day. I will just let him enjoy his being a 14 year old boy. Happy mom here.

What a fine looking young man you have there! .. .. We the mothers have a lot more influence on making our sons to grow up into confident , responsible, productive and gentle men.. At 14 years old, your son is just a "baby".. that's the most critical age for them where they need more encouragement and reassurance from the adults in their lives .. specially from the mother ..

Thanks. I'll put that in mind. I hate to see them growing up so fast.

Always good to hear such nice things about our children, one day he will learn to stand on his own and then you will miss him. Hug him while he is still around you.
