For some it is a game. They have fun sending out fake news and they watch the fun - some sadistic joy they get out of it. Just recently there was news that some exam papers here in India had leaked. While there was truth in some cases but not so with others. The powers that be had to run around in circles just to ensure that not all papers had not leaked. Is there a way out?

@thesupersingh I sometimes wonder why no one is worried about divine intervention. How long can people be wicked

Fake news is not limited to your country. It can make a huge mess for the innocents and waste a lot of precious time and resources.

The only way to fight fake news is with the truth.

As you say, some rejoice in spreading false news. They obviously don't have enough to do.

I hope there is a way out. The fake news are spreading more that the real news, confusing people. Better not to have news than fake news.

Various complaints have been made due to fake-news. Often, I happened to read them on Facebook.
