A Lucky Day!

Sunday, yesterday was actually a very lucky day for me. So I was still over at my dad's finishing up with the dog sitting, feeding them, cleaning up, just doing whatever I do before I leave my dad's house. I was going to wait for my grandma it come pick me up because I thought it was going to be super hot. But when I took the dogs outside it was nice and since my step mom was going to come home earlier than normal I didn't feel bad for leaving a bit earlier than I normally do. I was going to leave at 8am, but I was watching The Office and Evan Peters was on and if you know me, you know I have a BIG crush on him. I have had a crush on him since Phil of the Future in like 2005. And I have seen pretty much everything he has been in minus the X-men movies which I keep meaning to watch. So, I had to sit and watch that cuteness. So I ended up leaving around 8:30 and it was an amazing walk. My bags were a bit heavy so my back was hurting, but that is what happens when you are carrying a bag filled with electronics, art supplies, and clothing. But I dealt with it because I really wanted to walk. It was getting warm but there was a cool breeze that felt so nice. My dad doesn't live that far from me, about half a mile so it is a good walk to do. So I am walking, I say good morning to a guy who is watering his yard and I make a turn. I am huffing a little bit because my back was hurting and I look down to move my bangs from my face and I see BEAMING a 20 dollar bill. I'm just like, What? What did I just see? And so I pick it up, totally thinking it was fake or whatever, but like my mamma, if I see something on the ground that interests me I will pick it up! I have saved many stuffed animals that way. I am the stuffed animal rescuer! While I am walking I look at the money briefly and it is real! I look around to see if anyone is on the road that may have dropped it and I didn't see anyone. If I did see someone I would have ran up to them asking if they dropped something, because that is the nice thing to do. But the street was dead. I am walking up to my house and my mom is outside talking to my grandma and my mom just go home herself and she was surprised in seeing me walking because we totally had set I was going to contact my grandma. But I was like "I wanted to walk! and I found money on the ground!" I go inside and drop off my bags and sit on my bed and check out the money in my hands still thinking it could be fake. I actually picked up 40 bucks! It was 2 twenties wrapped up and I check them and they are real! I freaking found 40 bucks on the ground. I feel bad for the person that lost the money because 40 bucks is a lot. But I hope there is some good karma put on them. We all do it, we have all lost money. I have dropped money, but I found it and picked it back up after already accepting someone has picked it up. My mom has dropped money on the ground before but the same day she found a 50 dollar pair of shoes on the ground, so it happens! But hey, it was my lucky day! And it was a huge bump up to my new laptop, I am half way to my goal, I am so happy!

I hate to burst your bubble, but I seem to have lost $40 the other day when I was walking down your street. Would you mind mailing the cash back to me? Thanks! HAHAHAHA

A new laptop will be great as you will be able to get a lot more work done without it being bogged down and getting too hot. I feel so bad for whoever lost that money. But it is a wonderful stroke of luck for you so I am happy for you!

Congratulations, there really was no way to identify the owner. My grandson Josh found a $100 one day floating in a stream!! How weird was that?
