Can smartphones/tablets replace computer one day?

April 10, 2018 1:49pm CST
Now a days smartphone is extending its access. Whether official life or personal life, smartphone always helps us. We enjoy it in our daily life. I have also heard from some people that its affordable as compared to pc with same facility. So everyone should choose smartphone over pc. Though this answer seems like from a tech-savvy generation to me but I always believed smartphone to be the best junior of pc. Do you think any replacement ever be possible?

Only future generation will know if there ever will be a match between laptop and smartphone. At the moment mobile technology has to develop a lot in order to match with laptop.

Right...camera section is quite good in smartphones but I still think it lacks quality of technology. I have checked out Samsung tablet with a dell laptop. Dell beats tablet comfortably in performance. So I want to see more improvement in smartphone technology further. It's on junior level.

I think it wouldn't be possible if considering the features.

@prakashj256 I am glad I have a smartphone but never want anything to replace my computer. I love having a desktop. I type better on it and can see things better on it too.

As smartphones continue to get smarter and laptops can now fit in your pocket, yeah I think the computer will be replaced or it already has.

I hope so. But it's still not complete as far as l know. Mobile technology needs to be much better to have a match up with laptop. Facility is there but if quality of technology can be improved then I will call it a replacement.

There are great phones coming out from time to time and with great features. Even the size is bigger.. I think there is a possibility that it may happen

Laptops are worthy. A laptop with 2gb ram works like a mobile of 4gb ram. Intel processors are unbeatable. It actually makes a lot of difference.
