Got Some Piercings Back!

I forgot to mention that I ended up getting back some of the previous piercings that I used to have when I was younger. I got my tongue pierced again as well as my belly pierced. I missed having them and being a little bit edgy. It has been 3 weeks now since I got them. I have already changed my tongue ring to a smaller, clear plastic piercing. I like it because it isn't super long or uncomfortable like the one they place when you get your tongue pierced. I also just switched my belly ring from the bland plain piercing that was initially placed and replaced it with a very pretty butterfly piercing. I love it so much.
Have you ever had a piercing? Would you ever get one again if you had it removed?

I've had piercings in the past. I had my nose done twice but I worked in a kitchen and they made me put a blue plaster on it so it didn't heal very well. I also had my belly button pierced at one time but it grew out. I noticed the ring was getting closer and closer to the surface and then one day I pulled it and it came out! Now I just have my ears done as I have quite sensitive skin which doesn't take kindly to having holes punched in it!

My goodness. I never heard of putting blue plaster on a piercing. The same thing happened to me with some side piercings I had done that happened to your belly ring

@IvySaysHi If you work in a kitchen they make you do it if you can't take the piercing out and of course I couldn't at first. It didn't give it a chance to heal properly as a kitchen is hot and it would get all sweaty under the plaster

Used to have my lower lip pierced. Removed it after a year or so. Just got bored with it.

@allen0187 ok. remember the first time i got my tongue pierced i got a neat little replacement tongue ring that had a cute fake medicine capsule on it

I have never gotten a piercing. But my "dad" wanted to do my ears when I was 2 months old. My mom wouldn't let it happen though, thankfully.

@Courtlynn Yeah i agree, i think maybe under 12 would be ok, once they start getting older and becoming their own person. I didn't realize I had earrings until I turned like 8.

@IvySaysHi me either, i think children should at least be 12, and ask for them. not have it done without their say. as it is their body, and they should be old enough when its done, to be able to clean their ears themselves.
