I've talked about our guy friend, J in the past.
I sometimes talk about how he's not always the brightest candle about somethings.
Its a good thing he's kind of cute.
So, I went to see my friend in Kerrville last Friday and he came over to house sit since the wife can't leave her room after she's hooked up to her dialysis machine. Then on Saturday he did some of the cleaning that we pay him to do every 2 weeks, helps us with the cleaning and helps his bottom line. Well, since it rained some, he brought the dogs in and he decided that he needed to put down a bowl of water for Cleo.
Now, I used to put water down for Cleo, but Cleo has this weird issue with bowls.
As in - she's afraid of them.
Don't ask me why, but when I put her food in a bowl, she'd only eat the middle of the food and leave the stuff around the edges of the bowl.
And she won't drink out of a bowl in the house - At. All.
But he had to put down a bowl of water.
And where did he get this bowl?
Well, you see, when a person is on peritoneal dialysis, if they want to take a shower, first the shower had to be cleaned, then sprayed with a bleach/water solution. After that, the head of the shower has to be soaked for at least 5 minutes in a bleach/water solution.
Since our shower has a hand held shower head, I got a bowl and used it to soak the shower head.
Yes, he took the bleach solution bowl and put water in it for the dog.
This meant I had to take the bowl and run it through the dish washer, even IF the dog didn't drink out of it, because... well, because you never know if the dog didn't take a drink.
I kid you not - I want to take that bowl and hit him up the side of the head with it...

I would think that bowl would have posed a danger for the pooch as well, hit that guy for me too. He should know better given the circumstances you have with your wife and then also risking harming the pup. Can't he smell the bleach??

This is the kind of situation that you know he meant well, but didn't know not to do for he just doesn't know about the dog and your special things for the bathroom.

Obviously a dim bulb. Anyone with a few more watts would ask why the shower head was in a bowl of bleachy water, then ask if it was ok to use that bowl.
