Hostels in Hong Kong

Our trip to HK is still a bit far, but better safe than sorry. I have been looking for cheap accommodation all day. So far most of them need credit cards for successful booking. Can anyone recommend where to stay in HK? So far i have Mong Kok or Chungking Mansions in my list.

The hostels are expensive in Hong Kong. I don't really recommend Mong Kok or Chungking Mansions as it is so crowded in Mong Kok. Although I haven't been to Chungking Mansions before, but I heard the room was quite little and shabby and there were many other people in this mansions. In fact you can choose other places which is nearby subway as the traffic is convenient in Hong Kong.

@lady1993 I know it is probably cheapest there, but it is not very nice to stay there. Perhaps you can try AirBNB to see whether you can find a good place to stay?

yeah but the places i mentioned were the cheapest. A friend of mine did stay in that Chunking Mansions and she said it was a bit scary. We are still looking for places to stay though

@MsBooklover i chose to book an airbnb this time.. but i think it is still a hostel since it is cheap.. we'll just see
