I thought I should explain this one, as it's the most ambitious music series I've undertaken since I've been doing them here on MyLot.
Play it Again, Sam, is quite simple in a way. I'll be playing an original song, followed by a cover that I enjoy. It's ambitious due to the sheer number of songs that I've picked.
In some cases, the coveree will be showing up more than once. In other cases, the coverer will appear a few times. And in one particular case, I've even got a band covering itself!
I am not ranking these, as I am doing them at random. I will be numbering them, however, to keep track.
I've linked to a cover that didn't make the list.
In the meantime, stay tuned!
One of the most greatest cover versions of a Zep song. Maybe the best ever. This one is from the Bébé Le Strange Tour.
