Closing In On 25 Hours of Meditation

It hasn't been easy, but I never really expected that it would be. I have that Monkey Mind to end all possible Monkey Minds, but little by little, I am getting him to quiet down. From what I have been learning, there is no wrong way to meditate and thinking that there is simply makes you feel that you are failing constantly. Meditation just has to be consistent. The more hours that you get under your belt, the more quiet moments your brain has had to master the monkey. I'm really curious to see where I will be when I hit 30 hours. Is there anyone else out there who is trying to conquer their brain that never seems to want to rest??

Maybe this would be a good idea for me. My mind doesn't seem to want to rest either.

I have tried a few years back but my mind kept on wandering somewhere else. The longest I could go was only 5 minutes. But 5 minutes was good enough for me to have that wonderful brain rest.

People who meditate say that they learn how to calm themselves down by meditating. They say it's not something that they can explain how to do it. They just can.
