Driving, a sight seeing activity.

Fancy the things one sees on the roads. At 20 kph at EDSA, Northbound, I am sure I saw a sculpture of an old man's bust, on the wall. It appeared untended, covered by carbon monoxide, not privy to unscrupulous speeding motorists such as me. Truth be told, have you seen it, fellow Metro Manila citizens? If anyone has not seen it, I am willing to plead eerie to strange visions. Filipinos, anyway, believe in "Malikmata," a mirage. On hindsight, I think it was Mr. Epifanio de los Santos, the historian EDSA was named after. Anyway, this C5 mirage is for real. Two-tone, black and white, abstract, not graphic, not neo-nazi, not swirly nor spiral, just that, with jagged edges. Driving is fun, ain't it.

Very true. I hate the motorbike accidents. There has been one too many, and counting. I love the clouds, especially the cumulus, the heights, after the rain, especially if the majestic blue Sierra Madre, the canopies with branches spreading to the next tree, as if they are kissing. A weird, wonderful world.

@mlgen1037 You are accurate in the description: pasaway. The motorbike riders do not obey road rules, from speed limit to changing lanes. The motorbikes had been my pet peeves for a long time now. But driving is therapeutic. I am in my element when I am behind the wheel. Aside from sight seeing, I enjoy meditating and praying.

@eileenleyva hahaha I agree with those motorbike accidents. They are "pasaway" and they never learn. But it is nice to appreciate the beautiful surroundings too.

Yup. I am in Metro Manila. Nothing new yet in EDSA for people to come and check out. Perhaps just my mirage, if there is one. But you must see Bonifacio Global City. They say that it is our local New York City.

@eileenleyva BGC is much nearer to my place now. But the traffic there is terrible in rush hour. So is in EDSA.
