InvisibleALLERGENS

I am always having sneezing spells every time I wake up in the morning. The watery nasal discharges flow freely down that I have to wipe my nose always. Then sneezing follows incessantly. Wearing my mask is also a remedy that I do like now wherein I am in face mask. The invisible allergens are flying everywhere. They are so minute that they enter our system through our nasal cavity. The climate now is bringing some sickness that we do not expect to experience. Aside from allergic reactions and heat strokes, what other summer illnesses are expected in your place?

don't forget bronchitis, gastroenteritis, and even asthma because asthma can be triggered by pollutants.

Allergic reactions is not fun at all. I heard it from many people how they are suffering due to dust allergy and change of climate etc. I think there is no particular medicine for this too. Take care and take maximum precautions.

allergic rhinitis is usually viral in nature. it comes and it goes. the best way is to have a strong immune system and taking lots of vitamin c foods.

Sore eyes! That appears in the eyes of a person because of being in the sun most of the time. As for me, my hot flashes is triggered when it is so humid. It is windy here and a bit cold a night. It would always rain in the morning and even at night. But not today. It is really summer today and I hope tonight it will not trigger my hot flushes.

@ridingbet Yes, that is what others say. In fact, to avoid contact and affecting others the person should wear a sunglasses even inside the office. But here, a person afflicted with it isn't allowed to report to the office, lest everyone will be contaminated.

good morning, my lady. yes i believe conjunctivitis or sore eyes is rampant during summer. and there is a fallacy that we get the sore eyes if we stare at somebody with the eye problem for a longer period of time, the virus 'flies' in our eyes. by hot flashes, then you must always protect yourself from the sun, my friend.

@SIMPLYD indeed, because conjunctivitis is viral in nature. a virus is in the air so we must have a good immune system. wearing sunglasses i believe, is not because the virus might fly in others' eyes. it is because a person afflicted with sore eyes have photophobia or the eyes get irritated by strong lights.

I get allergies sometimes due to heat. I do not know other summer illnesses in my place, Ingrid. Maybe I am so stuck up with the things I need to do.

aside from the allergic rhinitis, some diseases that may be present are the sore eyes, gastroenteritis, and even respiratory sickness. there in the capital city, i think you have to be careful because the air/smog pollution is so extensive.

@ridingbet Yes, that is true. Thank you, Ingrid. I had acute bronchitis four years ago because I was overworked plus the pollution.

@ridingbet does it make a difference if you sleep with the windows open or closed?

@hereandthere yes, it makes a difference to me. why? it is because the dogs of our neighbor bark at night and i cannot sleep. our windows are with screen,so the dust coming in my room may be okay, but you see, there is an 'eskinita' right outside our rooms. so basically it is the noise that makes it difficult for me to open my windows.

no i don't. the face mask is used by me when i am in the kitchen. it is usually the uncooked rice that has these invisible dust that irritates my eyes and nasal cavity

It's too early to have heat strokes, that almost never happen here. This is the season of allergies.

@ridingbet Last year we had a few days in Summer where the temperature reached 38ยบ Celsius, it's hot enough to get a heat stroke if you stay outside at the wrong hours.

i believe you don't experience heat strokes there because your place is cold and maybe your summer is not as so hot as our country has.

same as yours. We usually have allergic rhinitis attacks especially when the season changes. other than that, the skin rashes brought by heat and perspiration. ugh.

oh, yes. when i scratch my skin due to excessive sweating, the scratch marks leave the unsightly reddish marks, otherwise termed as dermatographia
